Choose a name of the company and obtain all the necessary forms and money orders at HITRO.HR counter in FINA offices.

Name your company. Look into the database of the Court Registry to check if the name is available. You'll find all the required forms in FINA – The Finance Agency - at HITRO.HR counters where you can carry out all the required payments:

Forms:

application for registration into the court registry
application for commencing the business of the contribution payer
application for commencing of the insurance for the Croatian Institute for Pension Insurance (HZMO)
application of the contribution payer
application for the basic health insurance for the insured person
application for the basic health insurance of a family member for the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance (HZZO)
application of the business subject
application of the activity of the business subject for the National Institute for Statistics

Payments:

deposit of the basic capital
cost of registration in the court registry of the Commercial court
cost of publishing the registration in Narodne novine (gazette)
cost of the notary public
fee of the National Institute for Statistics

Application for registration and accompany documents need to be solemnized by the notary public. The presence of all founders and other persons whose signatures will be solemnized is obligatory.

Submit the solemnized application for the Court Registry at HITRO.HR counters in Fina offices.

Sumbit certified application for the registration in the Court Registry and other required documents at Hitro.hr counters in FINA offices. After the registration, have a company seal/stamp made.

Acquire a Notice of code of activities and open a bank account.

Get the Notice of classification of the activity of the business subject at Hitro.hr counter. After that, you can open the bank account. You will need to register as a payer of health and pension contributions for your employees. The required applications can be submitted to the Croatian pension fund (HZMO) in FINA within 15 days since the opening of the business.

Register the company in the authorized tax administration office.

It is necessary to register a company in the authorized tax administration office (jurisdiction according to the address of the main office of the association). Decision about the registration into the Court Registry, the notice of code of activities and the signature card should be presented for inspection.
